Executive Functioning difficulties can make social and academic settings challenging. This course provided participants with a working definition of the term "Executive Functioning" and detailed the elements of emotional control, self regulation, planning, organizing, execution and more. Speech Language Pathologists were offered strategies to use with students immediately!

Presenters

  • Danielle Moore

    M.S. Ed CCC SLP

    Danielle received a Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 1995 in Speech and Language Pathology with a minor concentration in English Literature. She received her Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences and her Teacher Certificate for the Speech and Hearing Handicapped in 1997 at The College of Saint Rose, also in New York State. She is a current member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and the Georgia Speech and Hearing Association. Danielle was the first Graduate Student chosen as a Student Board Member of the New York State Speech and Hearing Association in the history of New York. She has worked and lectured in the private sector, private schools, and public schools in both the State of New York and Georgia. Danielle appeared on the television program Focus On Atlanta. She currently provides supervision to Speech and Language Pathology Graduate University students around the country including New York University and Georgia State University.

    Danielle is an avid sports fan; when she’s not cheering on her beloved Denver Broncos, you can find her and her family in the stands supporting our Falcons and Atlanta United teams. She also enjoys being outdoors with her family, which includes her beautiful daughter, Ava Dionne, and her rescue dog, Hershey.
