Bright Ideas Media
About Us
In 2017 we became acutely aware that the only ways to get continuing education seemed to be through high priced conferences or courses, typically offered through ASHA. These were not accessible to us or to many we spoke to from a price perspective. We also noticed that solution based authors and companies were often overlooked as potential presenters in this space. PhDs sharing their research superseded our peers who were in the trenches and had developed solutions based products that were based on the day to day struggles we faced.
Armed with this information and the support of our peers, fellow school-based speech pathologists, we launched our very first virtual conference, The SLP Summit. Since 2018, Bright Ideas Media has evolved into a multi-faceted professional development company and resource for SLPs, educators, occupational therapists, caregivers, and more!
