    Farwa Husain, M.S. CCC-SLP, is a bilingual speech-language pathologist and founder of Gestalt Goodness, as well as the owner of One-on-One Speech Therapy in New Jersey. She is a national speaker on the topics of neurodiversity affirming practices and gestalt language processing and has presented for prestigious organizations such as the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and the National Black Association for Speech-Language and Hearing (NBASLH).Recognized as an “Innovator” at the 2023 ASHA convention, Farwa also received the 2024 Clinician of the Year award from NBASLH and was featured in NJ Family magazine’s “Top Docs” edition. As President of the Morris County Speech and Hearing Association, she promotes professional development for speech-language pathologists and audiologists.Farwa utilizes a holistic, sensory-driven, play-based approach in her therapy, affirming neurodiversity and tailoring methods to meet the unique needs of each individual. Her Gestalt Goodness products are actively used in schools, university clinics, and private practices, reaching parents and clinicians in Canada, the U.S., and the U.K. She prioritized culturally and linguistically appropriate therapy, celebrating each family’s lifestyle.As a dedicated mentor, Farwa supports SLPs worldwide in embracing positive neurodiversity affirming strategies. Through her innovative practices and commitment to excellence, she continues to make a significant impact in speech-language pathology, inspiring clients and colleagues alike.
