This course will guide participants through an understanding of intersectional identities and affirming practices for folks of all genders and neurotypes. We'll discuss the tenets of trauma-informed care, ways to reduce masking demands and create actionable plans for enabling clients to self-advocate.

    AC Goldberg (he/him) is an intersex/transgender Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) whose mission is to cultivate affirming clinical spaces for people of all neurotypes, races, genders, ages, religions, ethnicities and (dis)abilities. He was a school SLP for almost 20 years prior to becoming a full time consultant and continuing educator. Since 2017, AC’s given over 1000 lectures in culturally responsive practices. His intersectional cultural responsiveness CE platform, The CREDIT Institute, is dedicated to wealth redistribution. AC practices radical empathy. He's @transplaining.
