How to Code Speech Sound Disorders When Billing Insurance

This course increases the proficiency of speech-language pathologists in private practice, helping them to accurately categorize speech sound disorders based on patient history and current presentation for the selection of the appropriate International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) code for insurance reimbursement. Through case studies, the presenter will demonstrate how to synthesize available data to code the client’s presentation appropriately.

    Nesh Frazer, MS, CCC-SLP is a licensed and ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist serving the pediatric population online and in-person in the Atlanta-metro area. She specializes in educating and supporting families in accessing fair and equitable services via school systems and other agencies with expert insight. She’s also the creator of Entrepreneurial SLP, a comprehensive curriculum of courses designed to help therapists on their private practice journeys.  She supports SLPs from the start of their boutique private practice to billing commercial and Medicaid insurances with predictable outcomes.
