This course is designed to support school-based speech-language pathologists (SLPs) at varying levels of their careers to discover efficient and effective therapy within the group setting. This course will cover the organization, planning, relationship building, evidence-based-practice therapy approaches, collaboration, scaffolding of support, and points of further consideration for each individual practice.

    WaNani Vaitafa has been working within the field of Communication Disorders for a total of eleven years, an SLPA for four years and SLP for seven years. She holds a Masters degree in Communication Disorders from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. She spent five years working within a self-contained classroom dedicated to primary aged (K-1st grade) students with severe learning and language delays. The rest of her career thus far has been working with kindergarten through third grade students. She is married to her best friend, Tevita. They have one child, Takavaha (11) and two sweet fur babies, Lady and Hakuho.
