Throughout this course, speech language pathologists will learn how to utilize helpful tools to complete Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) evaluations and will be equipped to take the next steps to guide their students and clients towards communication. SLPs will be presented with a guide to writing goals related to language development through AAC, navigating device trials, and equipping a child's entire team to implement language modeling together.

    M.S., CCC-SLP

    Randi Brown is a speech language pathologist and AAC specialist residing in Fort Worth, TX. She graduated from the Missouri State University undergraduate and graduate SLP programs. Randi currently works for her local school district and also owns her own AAC consulting business, Randi Brown SLP Resources. She provides professional development, consultations, and virtual workshops to SLPs, teachers, and parents. Randi is especially passionate about serving children with disabilities and providing support to families of children with disabilities. In her free time she loves to spend time playing with her two kids, ages 4 and 2. She also loves watching The Office, Parks and Rec, or Harry Potter with her husband, Chris.
